September 14, 2026 – Broadcom today announced the general availability of Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI) v26, giving IT and finance leaders the tools to manage workload automation as a transparent, measurable business service. AAI v26 introduces precise cost attribution and chargeback reporting, a natural-language interface for exploring operational data, and frontier AI led security scan-and-remediate process, alongside expanded support for modern, container-based deployments.
As automation footprints expand across complex hybrid environments, organizations face growing pressure to prove the value of their IT investments and open operational data to a broader set of business stakeholders. AAI v26 is designed to meet that demand, replacing manual, opaque processes with data-driven financial visibility and self-service insight.
Precise Cost Attribution and Chargeback: Historically, workload automation has been treated as a flat, opaque IT expense, making it difficult for organizations to justify costs or plan budgets with precision. AAI v26 addresses this with a new financial intelligence model that calculates true Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of automation operations. Administrators can map job executions to cost centers, giving IT leaders defensible chargeback and showback reporting, bringing FinOps discipline to automation.
Conversational Data Exploration: AAI v26 also introduces a natural-language chat interface that lets users at any technical skill level query workload and job performance data by simply asking a question, removing the need to write complex database queries. Generative AI builds the query while deterministic retrieval ensures accuracy. Saved queries can now be published as shareable data insights.
Advanced security posture: AAI v26 is the first release to use frontier AI models to scan the source code for potential security vulnerabilities and remediate them before the release's general availability. This AI-driven scan-and-remediate pass adds a proactive layer of defense on top of our existing security testing, identifying and fixing issues earlier than traditional methods alone.
Flexible, Cloud-Native Deployment: Official container images with OpenShift and native Kubernetes support enable an auto-configured, single-instance setup that reduces manual installation effort and lays the groundwork for future high-availability architectures. The containerized server can also connect to external, customer-managed databases and to automation engines running outside the cluster, protecting existing infrastructure investments. Traditional installation and upgrade paths remain fully supported.

The release also delivers a set of customer-requested improvements, including secure Airflow proxy support, an extended 18-month view for SLA trend analysis, and streamlined dependency tracking.
